We all were lazy this morning except Mat. He got up early and surfed til 11:00. We were a bit worried because the surf reports were that the waves were still high. When he arrived home he said the waves were great. We were happy to see he was okay.
We stopped at Foodland and picked out a picnic lunch and drove to my favorite beautiful beach Anini. This beach is so peaceful and deserted. There are picnic and camping areas just under the trees by the sand.

Saw a cattle ranch on our drive
and took a look at Kilauea Lighthouse on our way home.
A lovely, restful, quiet day. We had a tuna noodle casserole and a salad for dinner.
