Holidays in Kauai Day 3 - Foodland Poke Bowls and Discovering Anini Beach

 Day 3 March 29, 2017

On this day Mat woke up early and went surfing in Hanalei Bay. He returned to the condo around 10:00 excited to say he surfed next to Laird Hamilton a famous big wave surfer that lives in Hanalei.

 Mike takes an early morning walk across the road and down the dirt path to the hidden beach. Our day begins with a stop at Foodland for lunch. It's poke and sushi for us and we eat it on the picnic bench right outside of Foodland.  Delicious poke. We love Foodland. 

  On to discover what will become  my favorite beach "Anini" which is very close by.

We take a drive to a town with a fish store and a lighthouse

  At days end we  head back home for a yakisoba dinner and the evening sunset across the street.

 Another great day in paradise.
