Holidays in Kauai Day 1- Our Adventures in Paradise Begins

March 27-April 5, 2017 Kauai holidays 
I will try to recap our wonderful Spring 2017 Hawaiian vacation on the island of Kauai with Athena and Mat.
Day1:
We flew United Airlines from LAX to Kauai Lihue airport  leaving L.A. at 9:45 a.m. and arriving in Lihue at 12:45 P.M.

 We shopped at Costco and the Farmers market next to Kmart in Lihue and stocked up on food and beer, wine and margarita mix for the condo.

We had read about "Seafood Express" in Lihue and made a stop for a poke bowl dinner there.

 A yummy selection of pickeled veges, salads and poke.  You mix and match and they weigh your bowl.

Then we headed north to Princeville to our condo

 It felt wonderful to be in Kauai again.  The island air felt refreshing.

 The free standing condo was airy and spacious. Upstairs the living room, dining area and kitchen

 Downstairs two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

 After unpacking we explore our neighborhood...

 As we are on our way to the Foodland Market by our condo we notice a crowd gathering just across the street.  We stop to join them in the first of our nightly  brilliant sunsets.

 We are loving  our beautiful Hawaiian paradise. Tomorrow Athena and Mat arrive. A lovely way to end of our first  day in Kauai.
