On Wednesday May 3rd my sister took me for a great adventure. She had bought tickets for the Bowers Museum special "Quo Pei Couture Collection".
We had last seen her fashion collection at the Bowers in 2019. Her work is incredibly magical and astoundingly beautiful. Having peeked at the recent outrageous fashions at the Met Gala I could imagine Quo Pei's embellished fanciful creations on that red carpet. (Rihanna wore one of her designs at the Met Gala in the past.)
After the exhibit we enjoyed sometime in the beautiful gift shop and lunch at the museum restaurant.
Oh and Jocelyn brought me her famous chocolate chip cookies and a new recipe called "Cry Baby" cookies. Probably named because one becomes a cry baby if they are out of Joce's cookies. PS Highly recommend this exhibit which ends next week. You must buy date and timed tickets online. It's really worth a visit if you love costume designs and fashion. Beautiful creativity.
