Day 4 Thursday March 29, 2012 Charlie, Leonardo and Abel arrived at 8:00 amThey carried bags of mixture must have been to lay the tile as they finished cutting and laying tile in front bathroom. (We had to go buy the gray colored grout from the tile place in Huntington Beach and Rene helped us.). Then Charlie drove us to Ikea and we arrived just before 10:00. He looked at cabinets and was familiar with the ones I picked. We looked at the Lagos blue caesarstone and got the price of approx. $59.45 per sq ft. ( I called and they verified it was sq. feet not yards and that this does not include backsplash of 6 inches. So when Charlie got home here he measured out approx. what we need and it turned out to cost about $4000.00 which is way too much for us. He then suggested he could do it and get us Granite for the whole job for about $1000. So we have changed plans to try that. He also took me to Lowe's and we found the tile above which is wonderful 18"x18" and if Mike approves we will order that tomorrow to insure having that and order 10% extra over needed amount.
Leonardo laid the tile while Abel cut it. Now it is setting and the grouting will come but tomorrow they are bringing the cabinet for the back bathroom and building the cabinet for the front.
They hung the two hallway doors and primed the walls of the front bathroom.
They left at 4:00 pm.
