Drive In Diners - A Nice memory
A nice memory evoked by this puzzle we started today. When I was about 11 years old my mom and her BFF Helen (she’s the 103 year old) use to take me and Helen’s daughter Jill to ballet lessons every Friday. After ballet the moms drove us to a drive in and we’d order French dipped beef sandwiches or hamburgers with fries. I still remember the way it felt to roll the window down and watch the tray fit into the window seam. When the food was brought out it was as such a treat to sit in the back seat and eat our dinner. Such a good memory.
