Huntington Beach U.S. Open Surf Competition August 4, 2019
We caught an early 8:30 bus at Sunset beach and went to the last day of
surf competition for the U.S. Open in Huntington Beach. (the cost one way for a senior is .75 cents) It was a good
time to arrive because it was still overcast and cool. We watched great
surfing which had been underway awhile, looked at fun exhibits, watched
guys making surfboards, ate free hot dogs and chips, played free games and won stuff and got home in
the afternoon and took naps. A fun day spent with 40,000 other surfing
fans!
I believe in love and kindness, family first, deep meaningful friendships, counting one's blessings and giving to others what you yourself need. I strive to see life as a glass half full. I am very grateful for the life I have and all the wonderful people that make this grand adventure so worthwhile.
